ALIVE: Amplifying the lived experiences of east London communities
The ALIVE Study (Amplifying Lived Experiences of East London Communities) aims to shed light on the lived experiences of diverse communities in East London.
We are starting with an in-depth focus on women of Black African and Black Caribbean heritage. Currently, we are conducting a study to explore their distinct experiences. This project aims to amplify their voices of Black women in East London, giving visibility to the realities, challenges, and strengths that shape their lives.
By understanding these lived experiences, we aim to create initiatives and support systems that are aligned with the needs of the community.
